✨Midweek inspirational words ✨

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I know everything is tough at the moment, we have high expectations.... I was once told to not have expectations and you can't be disappointed. This is now how I operate and life is much easier to handle it this way. I don't expect my husband to fold the washing or do the dishes but look at the joy and happiness when he does do them. Instead of constantly having expectations of each other or of God isn't it just a nice thing when it does happen without having expected it. For the rest of the week try it, see how much more liberating it feels. For my recent birthday my 6 year old had all these expectations that him and his father would buy me a nice present( my boy had something in mind that he wanted me to have... golden dangly earrings because that's what girls like, yes he's cute and thoughtful.) His father works away for 2 weeks at a time and didn't find the time to take the boy shopping. My birthday came and went and the little fella was upset that what he had wished for didn't happen and he didn't have a present for me( his expectation was crushed). Today my husband took him to town unexpectedly and took him shopping for mums present. The boy was over the moon when he came back home beaming and presenting me with the gift.
What I am trying to say is when the expectations we have come unexpected, they are so much more special. We rhen need to praise and give thanks also. Sometimes the timing is just not right or things got in the way. The right moment is the key Everything happens in a timely manner. Our heavenly Father will not disappoint us.
So while my boys were in town
today I was listening to my bible study podcast and a particular bible passage came to me that we should all read and consider.
The Lord has got our back, even though we feel bombardment from all angles, hate, fear mongering, sceptics, all seem to be hammering us at the moment, BUT GOD, the Lord surrounds us and will deliver us from evil in his perfect timing.
