Air Fryer Churro Apple Pie Bombs are a sweet treat that can be made in about 20 minutes with only 5 ingredients. Serve this quick and easy treat for a quick weekend breakfast or top with vanilla ice cream for a decadent dessert.

Pie is probably the most requested dessert at our house but it’s the one I make the least often. I just hate fooling with pie crust when cookies and cakes are faster and easier. Well that is until I made these apple pie bombs! It is seriously simple and the crust is made with canned biscuit dough.

How to Make Air Fryer Churro Apple Pie Bombs:

  • Open pie filling and pour into a bowl. Using a fork and a knife, cut the apple slices into small pieces. One can of pie filling will fill 2 cans of canned biscuits. I used half and saved the rest to make these again soon. Just store leftover pie filling in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Do not store in the can it came in.

  • Fold edges of the biscuit together and pinch to seal. Try not to get the pie filling on the edges of the biscuits, because it doesn’t want to stick together if you do.

  • Place filled biscuits into the air fryer basket about 2 inches apart. My basket held 8 at a time. You don’t want the biscuits to touch so they cook evenly.

  • Cook for 8 minutes or until golden brown. You can check to make sure the dough is cooked through by carefully pulling apart one from the bottom.
  • Melt butter and in a separate bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
